Alexandra Kim

Lab Manager

Alexandra received her BA in Psychology from Harvard College in 2023. She worked at the Boston Children’s Hospital laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience for 5-years over the course of her undergraduate degree, exploring child development through neuroimaging and studies focused on early adversity and emotional facial recognition. Her senior thesis investigated the potential mediation of facial recognition at age three between maternal health at infancy, and child outcomes at age five. She is deeply fascinated by how children process emotional faces and environments, and how that can affect their later mental health outcomes. After completing her masters in ceramic art from the Royal College of Art in London, she joined the DAN lab as a lab manager to further her interest in child psychology and development.
