Research Assistant
Electa Clark is a student in the Post-baccalaureate premedical program at Columbia University. She received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Electa developed a passion for working with children and trying to understand the complexities of emotional development after working in the ER and shadowing a pediatrician. She is particularly interested in exploring the development of emotional, specifically arousal regulation, in the presence of early adversity and how this can influence treatment of children long term.
