Erin received her dual-Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Delaware, her Master of Science degree in Teaching English Second to Other Languages with highest honors from Queens College, and a Master of Science degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in Neuroscience and Education. She taught for seven years as an elementary school teacher in various grades from K-5, while educating other professionals through the facilitation and creation of courses and workshops. Her teaching experience encouraged her to explore ways to investigate authentic questions through scientific research, and she began as a Research Assistant in the DAN Lab in 2021 working on various studies. Erin has become fascinated with the underlying neurobiological mechanisms of early life adversity. She is pleased to continue her journey as a Lab Manager to further investigate these mechanistic associations throughout the developmental lifespan through neuroimaging, behavioral, and physiological assessments.
